The Saucedo Company Introduces Pick-Proof Lock

The Saucedo Company recently introduced the Abloy ProTec2, pick-proof locking system, designed to provide the highest level of security in sensitive private, commercial and government applications.

“Abloy is very excited to partner with the Saucedo Company in El Paso. Their trustworthiness and strong family tradition as a cornerstone in the locksmith industry will complement our brand well,” said Corbin Anderson, national sales manager for Abloy Security USA.

Abloy ProTec2 is a rotating disc cylinder keying system that incorporates a number of newly developed and patented features for the ultimate in high-security protection. The disc controller in the lock requires a moving element in the key to mate with the cylinder internally in order to function, making it nearly impossible to copy a key. The cylinders are designed to be virtually pick-and bump-proof, with a patented DBS Disc Blocking System that prevents attempts to manipulate the cylinder’s internal discs.

“Our customers trust us to protect their assets with high security hardware and implementing Abloy ProTec2’s pick-proof locking technology into our portfolio is the next step in offering the ultimate in complete high security key control and hardware,” said David E. Saucedo II, 4th Generation Executive at The Saucedo Company.

The Saucedo Company is a fourth generation family business that has been providing security products and lock hardware to the El Paso, Texas region since 1917.  In addition to being a high security distributor, The Saucedo Co. offers complete locksmith services and access control systems. Currently, The Saucedo Company is under the direction of David E. Saucedo, Sr. and his two sons, David and Maury Saucedo
